Hi all,
I am a born and bred Delawarean, but I have escaped to live overseas a couple of times. I am mom of 2, a teenage girl and a tween boy. As a family, we have a large collection of DVDs (the fullscreens are the kids' preference) mainly because it is cheaper than going to the movies. We pretty much watch anything.

They really need to release all of this show to DVD. A great show but this is a weaker arc.

I still like S1 the best but this season really picked up in the 2nd half. I can really see t(in the news) he city political dynamic in another close by city.

Still like the series but S2 not as good as S1 and they were a little too lax on the facts.

I was one of the many that want the Alfred Hitchcock Premiere set and when I saw the price, I knew I had to wait for a good sale to get it. A week after it got released, I read some reviews about the bad packaging and unplayable discs, so I'm like "Great, how am I going to get the other movies?" Just recently they announced Sabotage, Lodger, Paradine Case and one other for a later release date. I picked up Notorious during a sale and I will get around to Spellbound and Rebecca at one point.

New DVD: Finally got this bastard. I looked everywhere in my area and non avail. I asked someone at Best Buy and he went to look it up on the 'puter and I kind of glanced and I caught "online only" and I'm like "... why in the world?" Anyway, I waited for a good sale to get this and I did.

New DVD: About time I own the Godfather trilogy. Can't wait to watch it. I remember seeing bits and pieces as a young teenager but it never sink in.

Good message, but the film itself has some problems, especially with the script. Maybe it just hasn't aged that well, but come on, some of the lines are ridiculously cheesy. And if I ever hear that song again I think I'm going to shove pencils deep into my ears. Acting was great however, especially Poitier.

A woman spewing all her internal organs out of her mouth? Awesome. While I don't think it was quite as good as Zombie, it was certainly entertaining. I was actually expecting to see more living dead, particularly a city of them, but all of the skulls being ripped open made up for that.

if you can pick up the bbc version its wel worth a watch or several, but with you already buying the hollywood version and you've read the bok its not going to give you any more into it really...but still if you get a chance to see it.

2008-11-23 04:56:42
i hope you enjoy it more than i did. I enjoyed it when the BBC did it (watched it twice then) but it was something id seen all before with people in it doing bad accents. Have you seen it already?

I actually kind of like the "Choose Their Fate" special feature on the Final Destination 3 DVD. Some of the alternative scenes are pretty cool. The newspaper headline detailing the fates of the survivors from FD2, for example...
